  • First, visit Zoom website on your browser.

How To Setup 2FA Through SMS Method?

  • On the right to the SMS option, you will find Setup option, click on it.
  • You will be asked to confirm and verify your Zoom account ownership one time again for setting up of 2 Factor Authentication.
  • Enter your Zoom password and then select the next button.
  • An SMS Authentication Setup page will appear. On this page, you will have to configure your mobile number on which authentication codes via SMS will be received. You can do so by selecting your country code and entering your mobile number in the given blanks.

  • Go to Zoom website on your browser.
  • Login with your admin account details.
  • After you have logged in, select the ‘Advanced‘ option on the left-hand side of the navigation panel to enlarge and view all the other settings possible for your Zoom ID.
  • Just under the ‘Advanced’ section on the screen, select the ‘Security’ option. A page will open that contains all the settings related to the security and privacy steps of your account.
  • Scroll down on the settings of your security page and find the “Sign in with Two-factor Authentication” option on your zoom account.
  • Enable that option and select one of the required settings given below.

All users in your account: This setting enables necessary two-factor authentication for all the Zoom accounts of your organization.

Users with specific roles: This setting facilitates two-factor authentication for only those users with some assigned roles. Select the pencil option on the side of Selected user roles, choose the required roles, then Save them.
