FAU-G – Akshay Kumar Announces To Launch An Action Game

The Indian government recently banned PUBG and 118 other Chinese apps stating the reasons for national security. India was the biggest market for PUBG, the loss of 14 billion dollars a day after the ban for Tencent is the only proof how popular the game was.

FAU-GFearless and United-Guards was announced on 4th September 2020 by Bollywood star Akshay Kumar on his Instagram post. An Indian firm nCore is all set to launch a battle royale genre video game for mobile in partnership with actor Akshay Kumar, profiting from the ban on Chinese tech company Tencent’s popular game PUBG (PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds). A Bengaluru based game company nCore Games will be launching the FAU-G Fearless and United: Guards mobile game by the October end.

What Akshay Kumar Said In His Instagram Post About Fau-G?

“This game was in the works for some months,” Gondal said. “The first level of the game is based on Galwan Valley.” Co-founder of nCore Vishal Gondal stated on Friday.

Conflicts in June between Indian and Chinese army with the debated site in Galwan Valley the LAC, high up in the Himalayan mountains, left 20 Indian soldiers martyred. There have always been border tensions between India and China.

The Indian government has targeted China’s tech companies that rule India’s app stores, with back to back application bans. The latest such move on Wednesday outlawed 118 mostly Chinese-origin apps; first, there were only rumours that PUBG will be banned, but now it is confirmed, and that has left many Indian Mobile gamers in shock. This ban has indeed generated a lot of controversies, and there are talks of PUBG ending its partnership with Chinese tech giant Tencent so that it can come back to Indian markets.
