It has been a month since Google showcased the Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL at the launch event in New York City. While most of the people thought it was the end, Google has proved everyone wrong as we have yet another device in the leaks. Yes, it’s the Google Pixel 3 Lite, a mid-range Pixel smartphone. There had been a lot of rumors about Google working on a mid-range device since the days of second-generation Pixel phones. Well, finally there are some leaks we can rely on. The famous website, Rozetked, which managed to show a hands-on video of the Google Pixel 3 XL almost a week before the official launch has leaked some photos and specs of the Google Pixel 3 Lite.
Google Pixel 3 Lite Design, Specifications and Price Details:
These pictures reveal a shiny back which we’re guessing should be plastic. The looks of this device seem fairly identical to the Pixel 2 devices. The display has no notch. Most importantly, the Google Pixel 3 Lite has a 3.5mm Headphone Jack. Seems like Google has risen from the ashes there, by including a headphone jack in this one after removing it from the mainstream Pixel devices. There are single front and rear-facing cameras. About the camera though, we can expect it to be a beast considering the excellent software optimization from Google. Even if Google uses an average camera sensor, the Google software touch on top can make the Google Pixel 3 Lite the best mid-range camera phone.

The Snapdragon 670 chipset is a new one by Qualcomm, announced recently in August 2018. It’s a successor to the well-known Snapdragon 660. This chip is supposed to sit between the Snapdragon 660 and Snapdragon 710. The performance offered by the Google Pixel 3 Lite will be very close to a flagship device but will lack the perks of an actual flagship, quite the sweet spot for a premium mid-range device. The screen and the battery look quite okay for today, without anything exciting. The exciting part is supposed to be hidden in the camera department. If the camera performance is close to the original Pixel 3, this device could break the market.
Google Pixel 3 Lite Price In India Revealed:
We are expecting the Google Pixel 3 Lite to be around the same price as the OnePlus 6T. If Google can manage to put a price tag of around $500 (roughly Rs. 35,000) on the Google Pixel 3 Lite, it can compete in the premium mid-range segment.
