They stated “We don’t really feel the need to add wireless charging. We’re not going to add a feature just for the sake of it.” In addition to that, they mentioned two valid reasons.

Firstly, wireless charger is an additional accessory to the smartphones and users have to spend extra bucks just for the charger. And secondly, OnePlus already use Dash charging mechanism for charging their phone. Wireless charger will only slow down the process which is not going to be useful in any way.
