How to disable Omnibox

Omnibox is already enabled by default in the applications like Google Chrome. If you want to disable the Omnibox, then you are required to follow these steps.

  • Open your Google Chrome browser, Click on the “three dots” located on the top right corner of the browser.
  • Now, Click on “Settings” option.

  • Scroll down to the bottom of the page and then click “Advanced”.

  • Now, Scroll down to the section named “Privacy”.
  • To disable Omnibox, Turn off the button available on the right side of “Use a prediction service to help complete searches and URLs typed in the address bar” option.
