Xiaomi Mi 8 will be officially launching on 31st May at an event organized in China. This smartphone launches with even more advanced features and is the 8th-anniversary edition of the company. According to the leaked image, the device is supposed to have a 6.01-inch display with a fingerprint scanner underneath. The scanner instantly unlocks the phone without much delay.
The device will have two different models i.e. 6 GB/64 GB storage and 8 GB/128 GB storage. The device is powered by the brand new processor Snapdragon 845 SoC. The camera will have 2x optical zoom and an inbuilt light 3D module for facial scanning. The leaked presentation slide also reveals that the 6 GB RAM model would cost around CNY 2,799 (roughly around 29,900 in rupees) and the 8 GB RAM model would cost around CNY 3,199 (roughly around 34,200 in rupees).
There was yet another image leaked on Weibo where it details about Xiaomi Mi 8 designs. This device has transparent glass panels at the back of it which shows the vertical dual camera setup on the top left and a little view of its internals. There’s also a volume and a power button on the right side of this Xiaomi Mi 8.
